admission policy

Now that you’re all pumped up and ready to go shoot a video about your favorite place or attraction in Louisville, here’s the 4-1-1 on the rules — or rule, since there’s only one.*

The One and Only Rule
There’s no mandatory style or content — your video can be funny, sad, poignant, creative, colorful, black-and-white or sepia, animated, or even a collection of old clips you put together. All we request is that your movie is 30 seconds-to-three minutes in length and that you somehow use the word (or the concept of) “ATTRACTION.” As in “My favorite Louisville attraction is . . .”; or “My Top-Ten Gobsmacking Attractions in Louisville are . . .”; or “Possibility City’s least-appreciated attraction just has to be. . . .”

If you need some inspiration, click here.

*It’s not really a rule; it’s more like a polite request: By submitting your movie, you’re giving The Share Louisville Project and Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau preliminary permission to reuse your content for other promotional purposes. Before we do that, however, we promise to contact you at the email address you give us to get your blessing.

The Share Louisville Project

In a city known for possibility, it should come as no surprise that Louisville is jam-packed full of fabulous things to do. From ballet to boxing, Bourbon to burgoo, bluegrass to Beethoven. For the young, not-so-young, and all those in between. This is a town defined by the breathtaking breadth of its attractions.

This is the place to share the things that people love most about living, visiting, working, or playing here.

Watch some of the videos above, maybe share them with your friends, and then think about making a video of your own.

And look, you don’t need to be Stephen Spielberg or Angelina Jolie. Just grab a mobile phone or a videocam, head to a favorite spot, aim, and click record. It’s that easy.

After that, just send it to us. We’ll take care of everything else. We’ll even notify the Academy for you.

Note: Possibility City accepts no responsibility for any fame fortune, or limitless goodwill your actions inspire.
